MY STORY
Covering Stories that Matter
Ever since secondary school, I've always had an interest in media. With my GCSEs, I achieved an A* in Photography and continued this passion in A-Levels (securing A* again). When deciding what degree to do, I discovered my interest in journalism and reporting on stories. Throughout my university experience, I enjoyed sourcing interviewees and creating content. By the end of my three-year journey, I achieved a First-Class degree in Broadcast Journalism.
Whilst at university, I took this as an opportunity to explore my interests. In second year, I kickstarted my own podcast show called 'What I'm Mad About Today'. Despite there only being twelve episodes released, we achieved 1.5k followers on Instagram and accumulated over 700 listens.

My proudest piece of work would be 'Living Without Mum', which was an audio documentary. This explored the themes of grief and death, as well as sharing my experience of trauma and OCD. Managing to secure intimate interviews for this project meant the world, as several friends stepped forward to share their experiences.

Since leaving university, I've struggled to find the same passion for media and journalism. So this blog is for continuing my motivation for reporting, reviewing, and creating digital content.
